Finishing a basement adds enormous value, but only when the prep work is done right. Skip these steps and you'll be redoing it within five years.
Moisture first
Always solve drainage and vapor before framing. We use sealed slab assemblies and dimple matting where needed.
Egress windows
Any sleeping space requires a code-compliant egress. Plan for it before framing.
Permits & inspections
Most NRV jurisdictions require electrical, plumbing, and framing inspections. Build it once, build it right.
